A Story to Tell

A Story to TellThis story I recreated in Captivate using a unit in Pearson Longman’s Cornerstone 3. Key tools that I used were the rollover caption, rollover image, picture zoom tool, and a puzzle widget, located at the end. I used a website Quizlet to review new words. Students then practiced reading the story and did the wordsearch puzzle at the end. On a separate day students and the instructor read the story for a second time. While reading we examined each of the pictures and practiced making questions. An explanation of how to make questions may be needed prior to instruction. At the end students were given homework to make questions about the story. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/20479283/A%20Story%20to%20Tell.swf
