Lesson on Direct Quotation

Quoting YodaThis project is a lesson using soundbites to practice direct quotations. Portions of the content are from Pearson Longman’s Keystone B. It utilizes advanced actions to control the audio and to input data. I used the following steps to control the audio:

1. Create a play button on a slide.
2. Add a new action (+) in advanced actions menu. Under select action, choose “play audio.” Choose your audio from your computer. Name your action and then save as action. 3. Go to your slide and click the button you created. Follow this path: Action > On Success > Execute Adv Action. Under Script, choose the name of the action.
4. Create a stop button on a slide.
5. Add a new action (+) in advanced actions menu. Under select action, choose “stop triggered audio.” Name your action and then save as action.
6. Go to your slide and click the button you created. Follow this path: Action > On Success > Execute Adv Action. Under Script, choose the name of the action to stop the audio.
